Try Old Rasputin. Samislaus. Yeti IPA. The various Rogue brews. Widmer's Snowplow. Various microbrews I'm sure one only sees in the Northwest. I haven't been to a bar yet that didn't have at least a few.

I wish I had the option to play video games. Fill the gaping hole where my social life used to be. Plan for Christmas: New laptop that actually functions. And maybe Oblivion. Depending on the capabilities of the computer. I'm rather looking forward to failing out of grad school.

How into the Wii do you get? Wrist flicks or full motion swings? Video game exercise: the future is now!

I know exactly what you mean about the video game thing. I haven't actually finished a video game in perhaps a year. And I don't have the patience to pirate them, so I just buy them and play them for a week or so. Right now I have open games in Oblivion, Darkstar One, Civ 4, Civ 4 Warlords, Shogun: Total War, Medieval: TW, Rome: TW, and I am currently playing Rome: TW Barbarian Invasion. Brewster and I promised we wouldn't get a Wii until we move to a new apartment. Maybe that will help.
